The pump below 7.5kw can be installed directly on the foundation with the isolation pad; when it is more than 7.5kw, it can be directly installed with the casting foundation, or it also can be installed with the isolator of the unit. The isolator installation method is the same as the size of ISG pump isolator.
Stainless steel horizontal inline centrifugal pump installation:
1. Before installation, check whether the fasteners of the unit are loose or not, and whether there is any foreign matter jam in the pump flow path to avoid damage to the impeller and pump body during pump operation.
2. The weight of the pipeline should not be added to the pump during installation to avoid deformation of the pump.
3. The anchor bolts must be tightened during installation to avoid the impact of vibration on the pump performance during start-up.
4. For the convenience of maintenance and safety of use, install a regulating valve on the inlet and outlet pipes of the pump and install a pressure gauge near the pump outlet to ensure operation within the rated head and flow range to ensure the normal operation of the pump and increase the service life of the pump.
5. After the pump shaft is installed, the impeller should be no friction or jamming. Otherwise, the pump should be disassembled for inspection.
6. The pump is divided into two types: hard joint installation and flexible joint installation.
